Biography
Justin Kin Jun Hew is a Research Software Engineer in the Ice Sheet Modelling team at
ACCESS-NRI (Australia’s Climate Simulator), hosted at the
Australian National University. His work combines rigorous scientific computing with practical
research software development across a range of physical and computational domains.
His research background spans computational fluid dynamics, shock dynamics, magnetohydrodynamics,
plasma turbulence, turbulent dynamos, high-order numerical methods, and rarefied gas dynamics.
In his current role he contributes to open-source software infrastructure for ice-sheet modelling
and large-scale scientific workflows.
